Live Quantum Roulette Review
Quantum Roulette follows the same concept introduced by software manufacturer Evolution Gaming in Lightning Roulette. The same standard roulette rules apply in this title, however, there are random multipliers added to the mixture.
In fact, the game can throw in up to 5 of these to any numbers, and the value of each of them can go up to a whopping 500x. And there are a few differences in the setup itself that you will notice if you already have experience playing live dealer roulette. For instance, that the croupier doesn’t have any interaction with the wheel, which is spun using compressed air.
Quantum Roulette Rules and Features Explained
The rules in Quantum Roulette follow those of regular European roulette, however, as you will find – payouts are slightly different. Multipliers aside, a regular bet on a straight-up number will pay 29 to 1 in Quantum Roulette. In the classic variant of the popular casino game, those odds are 35 to 1. So as you can see, the casino does try to compensate a little for the fantastic multipliers in the game.
Speaking of these, as pointed out, you can have up to five multipliers at a time added to the wheel. The multipliers can be added to any numbers randomly, which is decided by a random number generator or RNG. The RNG also determines the size of the multipliers. And these can range from 50x all the way up to 500x, growing in increments of 50x.
After the bets have been accepted and betting has been closed, the multipliers are assigned and then the wheel is spun.
You will notice that the studio is quite different from what you may have seen in games by other developers. It feels less like a casino and a little more like a game show, with bright neon lights sticking out against a very dark backdrop. The theme of quantum physics is mildly perpetuated in the design of the studio, with the futuristic details and very distinctive ambience.
And as pointed out earlier, the dealer isn’t so much a dealer as they are a presenter or host. They have little to no interaction with the actual game, and have more of an entertainment role than anything else. And the live chat feature makes it especially convenient for you to converse with them. But if you aren’t that keen on listening to the presenter talk, you can always mute them and enjoy the game in silence.
That’s not to say that they aren’t doing a good job at it, though. On the contrary, the presenters are skilled professionals and are wonderful at keeping players engaged in the game, despite not actually spinning the wheel or being actively involved in gameplay.
Another thing to note is that after the wheel stops and payouts are distributed, you will see a list of the winners displayed on the screen, along with the amounts they’ve won. And there are detailed stats for you to keep track of during sessions. These will offer you the table history of the last 100 up to 1,000 spins. One neat added feature is the possibility to save up to four of your most used betting patterns.
Live Quantum Roulette Bonuses and How to Claim Them
It’s not typical for most online casino sites to offer bonuses that are specifically aimed at live casino games like Quantum Roulette. But there are such promotional offers from time to time, as well.
What’s easier to come across is a general casino bonus (e.g. a welcome bonus offer) that also allows its use on live dealer titles. One thing to keep in mind in such cases, though, are the wagering requirements of the bonus in question. Low house edge games such as roulette typically have a smaller contribution towards their fulfillment. It’s important that you read the terms and conditions first to know the weight of each game types.
Quantum Roulette – Our Opinion
Quantum Roulette is an excellent example of a trend that has gained substantial momentum in the world of live casino games – live multipliers. With the use of this simple feature, a painfully familiar game can now be enjoyed from an entirely new angle. And what’s no less important, it makes for added winning opportunities.
