Wind Creek Bethlehem Casino in Newark, New Jersey welcomed back guests on Monday, more than three months of shut down since March 15. The casino reopened doors adopting new novel coronavirus safety guidelines.

The reopening followed the moves of other operators in many US states. The country allowed economic activities to resume, ordering businesses to strictly implement safety and sanitation protocols in catering clients’ needs.

Since then, casinos started opening doors to clients.

Tribal casinos were the first to accept back guests in late-May. The success of the reopening in tribal nations encouraged other states to resume activities of their casinos. During the first week of June, Nevada resumed the operations of Las Vegas casinos. People swarmed in the casinos during the weekends, raising hope for the industry to recover.
